SNIDER Funeral To Be Saturday

Waneta Olive SNIDER, 73, passed away at the Kirk Nursing Home in Agency early Thursday following a lengthy illness. Mrs. SNIDER was a former Fairfield resident, wife of P. J. "Peck" SNIDER, long time Fairfield groceryman. The family home was at 903 S. 3rd.

Funeral services will be held at 1:30 Saturday at Weston Behner Funeral Home with the Rev. Kermit Black officiating. Burial will be in Abingdon Cemetery.

Mrs. SNIDER was born October 28, 1898 near Abingdon, the daughter of Bryant and Olive JONES DeGOOD. She was married in Princeton, Mo., May 8, 1916 to P. J. SNIDER who preceded her in death. April 15, 1969. Before moving to Fairfield they operated a grocery store in Abingdon.

Besides her husband she was preceded in death by one infant son and and five brothers. Surviving is one son, Carroll SNIDER of Grimes, Iowa; and one granddaughter, Sherry FINCH and one great granddaughter Kristin of Dayton, Ohio and one brother Orlo DeGOOD of Abingdon.
