DIES AT HOME OF DAUGHTER

Mrs. Esram HUFFMAN, prominent citizen of the Abingdon and Batavia communities, passed away Monday at 2:30 p.m. at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Nora BRADFIELD, in Batavia. She was 86 years old at the time of her death.

Funeral services will be Thursday afternoon at 2:30 p.m. in the Christian Church in Abingdon with Rev. S. P. Williamson in charge. Burial will be in the cemetery nearby. The body was taken to the Campbell-Rupp funeral home in Eldon and will be returned to the BRADFIELD home this evening.

Sara HUFFMAN was born December 30, 1858 at Batavia, the daughter of the late William and Irene Hinton. She married Esram HUFFMAN in 1874 and they lived in the Abingdon community all their lives. Mr. HUFFMAN passed away September 24 (sic - 29), 1944, and a son, Frank, also preceded his parents in death.

Mrs. HUFFMAN is survived by one daughter, Mrs. BRADFIELD; one son, J. E. HUFFMAN, route 2, Batavia; four grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.
