Fredith Lucille DeGOOD

Fredith Lucille DeGOOD, 83, of 201 E. Buchanan Ave., died at 1:15 a.m. today, Aug 1, 2001, at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics in Iowa City.

A graveside service will be held at 9:30 a.m. Friday at Abingdon Cemetery in Abingdon with the Rev. Keevin Koch officiating. Burial will be in Abingdon Cemetery.

Family visitation will be from 6:30-8 p.m. Thursday at Behner Funeral Home. Memorials may be made to Packwood First Responders or a memorial of the donor's choice.

Mrs. DeGOOD was born Oct. 18, 1917, in Brookville, the daughter of Riley Mental and Lillian DAVIS. She married Orlo Arnold DeGOOD Oct, 18, 1938.

She was a homemaker and had been a clerk in an Abingdon gas station and grocery store.

Survivors include her husband Orlo A. DeGOOD; one daughter, Carol Joed HILL of Paraguay, South America; five grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; one sister, Lela STEPHENS; six brothers, Willis, Burcie, Orrie, Orval, and Dale DAVIS and her twin Lorel DAVIS.
