Leo Wayne DeGOOD

The service for Leo Wayne DeGOOD, 80, 1003 E. Madison Ave., who committed suicide at 8 a.m. Thursday, July 19, 1990, at his home, will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Behner Funeral home with the Rev. Kermit Black officiating. Burial will be in Abington Cemetery at Abingdon. Visitation is open at the funeral home. A memorial has been established to the Abingdon Church.

DeGOOD was born July 27, 1909, in rural Batavia, the don of Ralph and Vera MYERS DeGOOD. He married Lois McELVAIN Nov. 23, 1940, in the Little Brown Church in Nashua. She died March 22, 1986. He was a farmer in the Fairfield area all of his adult life and was a member of Masonic AF and AM Lodge, and Eagles Lodge, both in Fairfield.

Surviving are two uncles, Orlo DeGOOD of Abingdon, Leonard MYERS of Geneseo, Ill., and many cousins.
