Ruah DeGOOD

Ruah DeGOOD, 102, formerly of Batavia, died Sunday, March 2, 1997, at Parkview Care Center.

The graveside services will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday at Abingdon Cemetery at Abingdon. Visitation is open until 9 tonight at Campbell-Kremer Funeral Home in Batavia. Memorial can be made to the Arc of Jefferson and Nearby Counties.

Mrs. DeGOOD was born Dec. 7, 1894, near Batavia, the daughter of Ed and Ada COOK KRAMER. She married John Ted DeGOOD on March 1, 1916, in Fairfield. He died Aug. 26, 1969. She was raised in the Batavia and Fairfield communities, graduating from Fairfield High School in 1914. She was a homemaker and was a member of Cross Lanes Social Club of Batavia.

Survivors include a daughter, Juanita HANEY of Batavia; two grandchildren; (not legible) great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.
