Mrs. R. M. DAVIS Passed Away Last Night At Abingdon

Mrs. Mary Lillian DAVIS, wife of R. M. DAVIS and a life long resident of Jefferson county, passed away at the home of her son, Ora DAVIS, at Abingdon, at 9:30 o'clock last night, she had been in poor health for a number of years and seriously ill since Sunday.

Funeral services will be held tomorrow afternoon at 1:30 o'clock from the Christian church at Abingdon with burial in Abingdon cemetery.

Mrs. DAVIS was 57 years of age. She had spent her entire life near Abingdon, in Jefferson county. Besides her husband she is survived by the following children; Mrs. N. STEPHENSON (sic - Mrs. Nels STEPHENS) of Ottumwa, Willis DAVIS of Stockport, Brucie (sic - Burcie) and Ora DAVIS of Abingdon, and Orville, Dale and Lucille at home. She also leaves one brother, Jessie RAMEY, of Batavia.
