BATAVIA, Ia. -- Last rites were held at Abingdon this afternoon for Orrie L. DAVIS, 47, who died suddenly Saturday morning at his farm six miles northeast of here.
Davis was born near Abingdon May 16, 1907, the son of R. M. and Lillian DAVIS. He is survived by his wife and the following children; Mrs. Don EAKINS, Batavia; Mrs. Bert PRATT, Hedrick; Jerry DAVIS, Fairfield, and Larry and James DAVIS, at home.
Other survivors include his father, R. M. DAVIS, Farson; two sisters, Mrs. Nelson STEPHENS and Mrs. Orlo DeGOOD of Batavia; and four brothers, Dale of Batavia; Willis of Hillsboro; Burcie of Irvington and Orville of Noble, Mo.
