DAVIS rites at Abingdon

Nora E. DAVIS, 92, 309 1/2 E, Broadway, died at 10:50 a.m. Sunday at the Jefferson county Hospital. She had been in the hospital two days.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Abingdon Church of Christ with the Rev. Keevin Koch officiating. Burial will be in the Abingdon Cemetery.

Family visitation will be from 7 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Behner Funeral Home.

Nora E. DAVIS was born Oct. 29, 1890, in Aurora, Nebr., the daughter of Louis and Matilda PETERS CLINE. She married Alvie DAVIS March 6, 1920. He died May 14, 1968.

Mrs. DAVIS is survived by a daughter, Elsie ARMSTRONG, Fairfield; and a sister, Mabel FORREST, Hedrick. She was preceded in death by a brother.

She had lived 84 years in Jefferson County with previous residence in Aurora, Nebr. She was a homemaker and a member of the Abingdon Church of Christ.
