B. LITTLETON dies at 78

Bernice B. LITTLETON, 78, 102 E. Fillmore, died at 4:30 a.m. today at her home following a lengthy illness.

Services are pending at Raymond Funeral Home.

Bernice LITTLETON was born Nov. 21, 1900, in Jefferson County. she was the daughter of Harry and Nora HUFFMAN BRADFIELD. She was reared and educated in Jefferson county and lived her entire life in the Fairfield area.

Her marriage to Bruce BAIRD took place Jan. 1, 1918, in Fairfield. He preceded her in death March 31, 1934. She was married to A. R. LITTLETON Aug. 27, 1956 in Chariton. He died March 3, 1970.

Mrs. LITTLETON was a member of the United Methodist Church, United Methodist Women, Philathea Class and the Jefferson County Hospital Auxiliary.

Survivors include three sons, Robert Eugene BAIRD, Rock Island, Ill.; Carroll Warren BAIRD, Cody Wyo.; and John Richard BAIRD, Route 1; also six grandchildren; two great-grandchildren and one brother, Bruce BRADFIELD, Batavia.
