Monday, August 30, 1982SIMMONS rites on Wednesday
Ina Mae SIMMONS, 77, 907 W. Stone, died at 7 a.m. Sunday at the Jefferson County Hospital where she had been a patient the past two weeks.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Behner Funeral Home. The Rev. D.O. Van Dyne will officiate and burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery.
Family visitation will be from 7 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
Mrs. SIMMONS had made her home in Fairfield for over 59 years and had worked for the Fairfield Glove Co. for over 25 years. She was a member of the Suburban Heights Baptist Church.
Ina Mae SIMMONS was born July 18, 1905, in Abingdon. She was the daughter of Emmett and Maude Del MYERS. She was married to James H. SIMMONS June 4, 1931, in Memphis, Mo. He died March 16, 1968.
Survivors include two sons and three daughters; James E. SIMMONS and Butch L. SIMMONS both of Fairfield; Frances PHILLIPS, Mount Pleasant; Beatrice RANDALL and Margarette BURNS, both of Seattle, Wash.
Other survivors include 18 grandchildren, 30 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren; three brothers, Charles MYERS, Batavia; Roy MYERS, Fairfield; and Emery MYERS, Oxnard, Calif. In addition to her husband she was preceded in death by a son.
