Glen H. MARTIN Taken In Death

Glen H. MARTIN, 51, Raney farmer, died Friday at 6:15 p.m. at the Jefferson County hospital after a serious illness of five days. He had been in failing health for several years.

MARTIN resided on a farm seven and a half miles south of Fairfield. He had been a resident of this county since 1942.

Services will be held Monday at 2 p.m. at the Weston Behner Funeral home in charge of the Rev. Ned C. Gillum. Burial will be in Evergreen cemetery.

MARTIN was born Aug. 16, 1912 at Camargo, Ill., the son of Alvin and Emma M. McWILLIAMS MARTIN. He was married to Wilda COOK May 24, 1934. He was a member of the First Christian church.

Surviving are his wife and three daughters, Mrs. Max KIMPLE, Fremont, Calif.; Mona Sue Martin, senior student at Fairfield high school; and Kathleen Martin, sophomore student.

Also surviving are three grandchildren; his father, Alvin MARTIN, Fairfield; and two brothers, Gerald MARTIN, Fairfield; and Roy MARTIN, Aurora, Ill.

His mother and one sister preceded him in death.
