Charles F. HARRISON

Charles F. (Bob) HARRISON, 76, 806 S. Fourth, died Wednesday at 1:50 p.m. at University Hospital in Iowa City where he had been admitted June 26.

He was born March 17, 1909, in Jefferson county to John A. and Cora May BROWN HARRISON. He was a graduate of Fairfield High School. On June 30, 1931, he married Mildred KELLER at the bride's home in Fairfield. She survives.

HARRISON retired from the First National Bank in 1974. He was a member of the First Christian Church, Masons, life member of B.P.O.E. No. 1192, past exalted ruler, and past president of Lion's Club, degree of honor. He was a well-known vocalist in the community.

In addition to his wife, HARRISON is survived by one son, C.R. (Bobby) of Charlotte, N.C.; four grandchildren; three great grandchildren; two sisters, Mary HERMAN of Hedrick and Edna ALLISON of Libertyville; and two brothers, Guy of Fairfield and Ralph of Libertyville. He was preceded in death by his parents and five brothers and sisters.

Services will be Saturday at 10 a.m. at the First Christian Church with Roger Williams officiating. Interment will be in Evergreen Cemetery with Masonic service by Clinton Lodge No. 15. Memorials may be made to the First Christian Church choir. Friends may call at Raymond Funeral Home anytime after noon Friday.
