G. CAUGLIN Dies at 76

Grace M. CAUGHLIN, 76, 802 N. Tenth, died at 5:30 a.m. today at the Jefferson County Hospital where she had been a patient since Dec. 28.

Services are pending at Raymond Funeral Home.

Grace M. CAUGHLIN was born Jan, 2, 1902, in Oshawa, Ontario, Canada. She was the daughter of Myron and Mary Louise MOOR BROWN.

She was married to Joe BURKE, Jr., and he died May 8, 1948. Her marriage to W. Verne CAUGHLIN took place Oct. 17, 1953, at Fairfield. He died March 12, 1970.

Mrs. CAUGHLIN served as a nurse's aide at the Jefferson County Hospital for a number of years. She was a member of the First Christian Church and Jefferson County Hospital Auxiliary.

Survivors include a stepdaughter, Marion UMSTED, St. Charles, Mo.; six stepsons, Dick CAUGHLIN, Richland; Jack CAUGHLIN, Cleveland, Mo.; David CAUGHLIN, Lake Zurick (sic - Lake Zurich), Ill.; Charles CAUGHLIN, Plano, Texas; Donald CAUGHLIN, Waverly, Ohio; and Tom CAUGHLIN, Park City, Ky.; and a number of grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a brother, one stepdaughter and two stepsons.

Note: The surnames CAUGLIN and CAUGHLIN should both be CAUGHLAN.

CAUGHLAN Rites Set

Services for Grace M. CAUGHLAN, 76, 802 N. Tenth, who died Thursday morning at Jefferson County Hospital, will be Monday at 2 p.m., at Raymond Funeral Home.

The Rev. J. E. Dorman will officiate. Interment will be in Evergreen Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home Sunday from 7 to 8 p.m.

Besides one stepdaughter and six stepsons, Mrs. CAUGHLAN is survived by one son, Myron BRUN of Phoenix, Ariz.
