Front Page, Columns 6 and 7Death In Des Moines Of Mrs. L. BURNAUGH Reported On Tuesday
Word of the death of Mrs. Lester BURNAUGH of Des Moines, daughter of Sam LEWIS of Fairfield, was received here Tuesday. Mrs. Floyd GAINES of Fairfield is a sister.
Relatives were called to Des Moines when Mrs. BURNAUGH's condition was known to be serious. She is reported to have died before they arrived. It is believed the body will be returned to Fairfield for funeral services here.

Mr. and Mrs. Sam LEWIS of 204 West Burlington street were called to Des Moines Tuesday morning by a message announcing the serious illness of their daughter Mrs. Lester BURNAUGH. A short time following their departure a second message arrived telling of her death.
Mrs. Floyd GAINES and Mrs. Tom SMITH, sister and niece of Mrs. BURNAUGH have left for Des Moines.
Further details have not as yet been learned.

Page FIVE, Column 4BURNAUGH Funeral Is Planned Friday
Funeral services for Mrs. L. BURNAUGH of Des Moines, who died Tuesday, will be conducted at the Hoskins funeral home in Fairfield, Friday at 1:30 p.m. The Rev. E. A. Piper will officiate. Burial will be in Evergreen cemetery. The body will arrive in Fairfield early tomorrow morning.

Lt. Col. and Mrs. Robert FULTON of Des Moines are here to attend the funeral of the latter's sister Mrs. Lester BURNAUGH which was held today.
Others from away here for the services included Lester BURNAUGH Sr., of Davenport father-in-law; and Mr. and Mrs. Forest BURNAUGH and daughter, Varna, Mr. and Mrs. Gerald AVERY and children, Mr. and Mrs. Glenn Towers, Mr. and Mrs. William Bryant and Mrs. Russell Phelps all of Des Moines.

--Mr. and Mrs. Sam LEWIS 204 West Burlington street returned Wednesday from Des Moines where they were called by the death of their daughter Mrs. Lester BURNAUGH. Mrs. Floyd GAINES and daughter Mrs. Tom SMITH returned also that evening.

GLOTFELTY, 104 West Madison street received word today from her brother, Lester BURNAUGH a former Libertyville resident who is now making his home with his daughter in Davenport, that he has just returned from a two weeks visit in the home of a son in Denver, Colorado and he is feeling fine. It will be remembered that Mr. BURNAUGH was seriously ill this fall and relatives were summoned to his bedside.
