Edith Elaine CALHOUN

Word has been received of the death of Edith CALHOUN, 84, Logan Apartments, Fairfield, who died at 12:50 p.m. Friday, Sept. 20, 1996 at the Jefferson County Hospital in Fairfield.

She was born July 30, 1912, in Mt. Hamill, the daughter of Thomas Elzy HENRY and Clara Elmira (REFIOR) HENRY. On Dec. 12, 1934, she married Paul Larry CALHOUN in Kahoka, Mo. He died Sept. 13, 1965.

Local survivors include: a daughter, Mrs. Jerry (Shirley Ann) LANGEL of Mt. Pleasant.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, Sept. 24, at the First Baptist Church in Fairfield, with the Rev. Jim Wotherspoon officiating. Burial will be at Forest Home Cemetery in Mt. Pleasant.

Family visitation will be at 7:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., Monday, Sept. 23, at Behner Funeral Home in Fairfield.

Memorials may be made to the First Baptist Church or the American Cancer Society.
