Pg. 12William A. DEUTSCH, 80, 607 North B. St., died at 12:01 a.m. Tuesday, Oct. 17, 1989, at Jefferson County Hospital.
The service will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at St. Mary's Catholic Church with the Rev. William Sullivan officiating. Burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery at East Pleasant Plain. Prayers for a Christian Wake will be at 7 p.m. Wednesday at Behner Funeal Home with visitation to follow. Memorials have been established to St. Mary's Catholic Church, the Heart Fund and the Senior Citizen Site.
DEUTSCH was born Aug. 20, 1909, in Alsace-Lorriane, Germany, the son of Isadore and Eugenia WOBIG DEUTSCH. He married Bessie B. BLACK June 28, 1939. She died April 13, 1974. He married Louva E. EYESTONE April 16, 1976, at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Fairfield. He lived most of his life in the Fairfield community and before that in Pleasant Plain community. A self-employed trucker, he operated William Deutsch Trucking until he retired. He was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church.
Surviving are his wife; three brothers, Isadore, Joe and Victor, all of Brighton; two sisters, Mary SHELANGOSKI of Brighton and Esther HORAK of Riverside. A brother, Leo, preceded him in death.
