Renhold NELSON Rites Tuesday

Funeral services for Renhold H. NELSON, 55, 107 E. Kirkwood, will be held Tuesday at 2 p.m. at the First Methodist Church.

NELSON, who had been in failing health for several months, died Saturday at 11:55 a.m. at the Jefferson County Hospital. He entered the hospital earlier in the day.

Last rites will be conducted by the Rev. James W. Dendler. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery. The body will be taken from the Behner Funeral Home to the church Tuesday at 12:30 p.m.

NELSON was a former machine operator for Jefferson county and the City of Fairfield. He was born Dec. 2, 1909, at Galesburg, Ill., the son of Edward and Garda LINDOHL NELSON. He had been a resident of this county since the age of 2.

NELSON was married to Blanche MESSER Jan. 21, 1941. He was a member of the First Methodist Church and the Fraternal Order of Eagles.

Surviving are his wife; one sister, Mrs. Eleanor HARWOOD, Fairfield; and two brothers, Willard NELSON, Fairfield, and Cecil NELSON, Eddyville. His parents preceded him in death.

Buried Evergreen Cemetery, 5th.005
