Clifford MILLER Taken In Death

Clifford MILLER, 78, retired Iowa Malleable Iron Co., employee, died this morning at Briggs-Eskew Nursing home where he had resided for the past three years.

Services will be held Tuesday at 1:30 p.m. at the Weston Behner Funeral home. Burial will be in Evergreen cemetery.

MILLER had been a resident of Fairfield for 40 years. He was born June 6, 1884 in Henry county, the son of F. V. and Josephine LANE MILLER. He was married to Eva L. SCARFF Nov. 9, 1904. She preceded him in death May 20, 1958.

MILLER was a member of the Foursquare church. He is survived by the following children: Mrs. Agnes ESKEW, Mrs. Elma RUBY, Mrs. Alvena BRIGGS, Mrs. Frances TURNER and Mrs. Betty GOODWIN, all of Fairfield; and Mrs. Wanda GREENLAND, Iowa City.

Also surviving are 11 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren and the following brothers and sisters: Harry MILLER, Mt. Pleasant; Charles MILLER, Burlington; Mrs. Nora SWAILES and Mrs. Ora ROTH, both of Mt. Pleasant.

Buried Evergreen Cemetery, 4th.195
