Sharon Jean "Jeanie" HOOTMAN, 47, 308 W. Adams Ave., died at 10:10 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 21, 1991, at the long-term care unit of Jefferson County Hospital.
The service will be at 3 p.m. Tuesday at Raymond, Funeral Home with the Rev. Sara Malone officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery. Family visitation will be from 7 to 8 tonight at Raymond Funeral Home. Memorials have been established to American Cancer Society and Hospice of Jefferson County.
Mrs. HOOTMAN was born March 20, 1944, at Birmingham, the daughter of Harold and Beulah CAULKINS WEAVER. She grew up in Birmingham and graduated from Birmingham High School in 1962. She worked in the office at Universal Producing Co., Crystal Forest, Country Kitchen and at Easter Food Store. She did crafts, re-upholstery and furniture refinishing. She married Charles "Sonny" HOOTMAN on June 30, 1963, at the Christian Church in Fairfield.
Surviving are two sons, Jerry of Fairfield and Joe of Orlando, Fla.; a brother, Jack WEAVER of Hillsboro, two sisters, Shirley KERR of Keosauqua and Sherry HALL of Birmingham. Her parents preceded her in death.
