Services for Mrs. Kenneth HOOTMAN, 70, will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at the Raymond Funeral Home. The Rev. D. O. Van Dyne will officiate and interment will be in Evergreen Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 7:30 to 8:30 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
Mrs. HOOTMAN died at 9:15 a.m. Wednesday at Jefferson County Hospital where she had been a patient since February 13.
Marie E. HOOTMAN was born Sep. 5 (sic - October 5), 1909, in Fairfield. She was the daughter of Samuel and Nellie FLIGG BOUGHNER, and lived her entire life in the Fairfield Community. The family home is at 705 W. Briggs.
She was married Feb. 1, 1928, to Kenneth HOOTMAN. The wedding took place in Fairfield.
Survivors include her husband; four sons, Kenneth Richard, Rosemead, Calif.; Carroll, Green Bay, Wisc.; Dewayne and Charles, both of Fairfield; two daughters, Rose Mary RAMBO, Fairfield; and Beverly MOORE, Birmingham.
Also 20 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren; her mother, Nellie Boughner, Sigourney; and five brothers, George, Bill and Paul, all of Fairfield; Charles, Sherman, Texas; and David in California; and Sylvan in Dufur, Oregon.
Mrs. HOOTMAN was preceded in death by her father and two grandsons.
