Illness Fatal To Bill HOOTMAN, 24

Bill F. HOOTMAN, 24, died at 12:20 today at Jefferson County hospital where he been a patient for six days.

Hootman, a lifetime resident of Fairfield, had been in failing health for six months and seriously ill for three weeks. He was employed by the Vorhies Plumbing and Heating Co.

Services will be held Tuesday at 2 p.m. at the Weston Behner Funeral Home. the Rev. D. O. Van Dyne and the Rev. Donald L. Hickman will officiate. Burial will be in Evergreen cemetery.

Hootman was born Sept. 29, 1938, the son of Fred I. and Eva PHILIPS HOOTMAN. He was married to Esther RUSSELL, Oct. 3, 1959.

Surviving are his wife and two children, Christine, 2 1/2, and Bryan, 1. He is also survived by his parents, and his grandmother, Mrs. Edith PHILIPS, all of Fairfield, and the following brothers and sisters:

Charles Hootman, serving with the U.S. Air force in Spain; Robert HOOTMAN, serving with the U.S. Army in Germany; Mrs. Delores FORD, Mt. Pleasant; Mrs. Dixie MYERS, Packwood; Mrs. Karen ISEMAN, Keosauqua; Mrs. Peggy HOOVER, Brighton; and James HOOTMAN, at home.

Buried Evergreen Cemetery, 3rd.200
