Dorotha M. FERREL

Dorotha M. FERREL, 83, 404 S. Fourth St., died at 3:10 a.m. today, Wednesday, March 5, 2003, at Jefferson County Hospital.

The funeral will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Behner Funeral Home, with the Rev. Thomas Raphael Nakos officiating. Burial will be at Fell Cemetery near Libertyville.

Family visitation will be from 6:30-8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.

Memorials may be made to Fell Cemetery Association.

Mrs. FERREL was born Dec. 8, 1919, in Batavia area, the daughter of Isaac J. and Eva HANEY McBRIDE. She married Lloyd M. FERREL Oct. 26, 1936, in Lancaster, Mo. He died May 13, 1987.

Mrs. FERREL lived in Van Buren and Jefferson counties. She was a homemaker.

Mrs. FERREL was a member of Church of the Brethren in Libertyville and VFW Ladies Auxiliary.

Survivors include two sons, Merle FERREL of Fairfield and Darrel FERREL of Kansas City, Mo.; one daughter, Eva RUSSELL of Moberly, Mo.; one sister, Frances CLINE of Belvidere, Ill.; 11 grandchildren; and 21 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death her parents; husband; one son, Larry FERREL; one daughter, Dorotha Angeline; and one sister, Mary Elizabeth McBRIDE.
