Monday, 11 October 1980Nellie BOUGHNER dies
Nellie May BOUGHNER, 92, 611 W. Jackson, died at 4 p.m. Friday at Keokuk County Hospital in Sigourney. She had been in failing health the past six days.
Services will be Tuesday, 2 p.m., at Behner Funeral Home with the Rev. Charles Kincaid officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery. Family visitation will be Monday, 7 to 8 p.m., at the funeral home.
Mrs. BOUGHNER was born Feb. 19, 1888 in Jefferson County, the daughter of Charles and Nancy HENDERSON FLIGG. She married Samuel BOUGHNER Feb. 26, 1906 in Fairfield. He died June 15, 1952.
Surviving are six sons, George, William E. and Paul, all of Fairfield, Sylvan of Dufur, Ore., Charles of Denison, Tex., David of Orangevale, Calif.; 26 grandchildren; 50 great-grandchildren; several great-great-grandchildren and one sister, Bonnie BREWINGTON of Mt. Pleasant.
