MRS. GEORGE SWITZER

Mrs. George SWITZER, 69, died Nov. 24, at 8:00 a.m., at the home of her son, Esco Messer, 1107 South Seventh Street.

Mrs. SWITZER had been seriously ill for one week.

The former Icie STOUT, she was born at Unionville, Mo., on April 4, 1882, the daughter of John and Lucy HALL STOUT, and was married on Nov. 10, 1901, to the late Reason MESSER, at Unionville. On March 12, 1927, she was married to George SWITZER, at Fairfield. SWITZER died last Jan. 17.

Three sons and 3 daughters survive: Escoe MESSER, Fairfield; Eustace MESSER, Gillispie, Ill.; Creston P. MESSER, Beardstown, Ill.; Mrs. John O. GALLUP, Streator, Ill.; Mrs. Mary RILEY, Ft. Madison, and Mrs. Harry SMITH, of Fairfield.

Also surviving are 3 step-children: Mrs. Lucille WHITE, Rock Island, Ill; Mrs. Elizabeth PENTECOST, Crawfordsville, and Ralph SWITZER of Fairfield; 3 brothers, Ed. C. and Loran L. STOUT, both of Stanish, S. D., and Ernest R. STOUT, Milan, Mo.; 30 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.

Last rites will be held at Victory Tabernacle, Fairfield, at 1:30 Tuesday afternoon. the Rev. Raymond Lisenbee will officiate, and burial will be in Lockridge cemetery.

The body is at the Weston Behner funeral home.
