A former resident of Jefferson county passed away Thursday at her home in Eugene, Oregon. She is Mrs. Albert CASE whose body will be returned to Fairfield for burial.
Mrs. CASE is an aunt of Mrs. C. H. WOELLHAF, Fairfield. Other survivors who reside in Fairfield include a niece, Mrs. Carrie BROWN; a nephew, Walter RIZOR; and James SNYDER, Abingdon, also a nephew.
Mrs. CASE passed away at 11 a.m. Thursday at her home in Eugene, Oregon. She had been in failing health for some time.
Belle CASE was a former resident of Jefferson county, the daughter of the late Stephen and Mary HICKENBOTTOM. She was united in marriage to Albert CASE, who preceded her in death October 2, 1903. She moved to Oregon 25 years ago.
Mrs. CASE, a member of the Christian church, the W.R.C.'s and Rebekah lodge, is survived by two children, Mrs. Nelle HALL, Eugene, Oregon, and James CASE, Jameston, North Dakota; and one granddaughter. She was also preceded in death by a son.
