Christina Marie 'Chris' KUNTZ

Christina Marie "Chris" KUNTZ, 48, of Keota, formerly of Washington, Iowa, died Tuesday, Nov. 15, 2011, at University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics.

A celebration of life service will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Prairie Flower Baptist church, with the Rev. Don Collins officiating. Private family interment will take place at a later date.

Visitation will begin at 9 a.m. Saturday at the church, where the family will be present from 9:30-10:30 a.m.

Memorials may be made to her son's education fund or a general memorial. Online condolences may be sent at www.jonesfh.com .

Mrs. KUNTZ was born Sept. 25, 1963, in Burlington, the daughter of Norman and Susan HARPER SNYDER. She married Tony KUNTZ in 1992 in Brighton. They later divorced.

Mrs. KUNTZ attended school in Fairfield and graduated from Fairfield High School in 1982. She lived most of her adult life in Washington, Iowa, before moving to Keota four years ago. She worked at County Line Mart in Keota and previously worked at Batterson Photography for 17 years. She was currently attending Indian Hills Community College in Ottumwa.

Mrs. KUNTZ attended Prairie Flower Baptist Church.

She enjoyed reading and spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.

Survivors include one daughter: Amanda ANDERSON and husband Nathan of Keota; one son: Cody KUNTZ of Keota; four grandchildren; her mother of Richland; one brother: Scott SNYDER of Boone; three sisters: Becky HOOVER of Richland, Connie SNYDER of Grimes and Joann JOHNSON of Greeneville, Tenn.; and one grandmother: Anice HESTON of Tipton.

She was preceded in death by her father.
