Edward A. HAINES

Edward A. HAINES, 76, of Fairfield, died at 1:01 a.m. Monday, July 9, 2001, at the Skaggs Community Health Center in Branson, Mo.

The funeral will be held at 9:30 a.m. Thursday at Behner Funeral Home, with the Rev. Ed Parker officiating. Burial will be in Lockridge Cemetery.

Family visitation will be held 6-7:30 p.m. Wednesday at Behner Funeral Home. Memorials may be made to Suburban Heights Baptist Church or to the family.

Mr. HAINES was born Oct. 6, 1924, in Henry County, the son of Archie and Pansy RUDD HAINES. He married Carrie KELLER July 25, 1947, in Mount Pleasant.

He lived most of his life in Jefferson County. He was a farmer and self-employed livestock hauler.

Survivors include his wife, Carrie HAINES of Fairfield; one daughter, Mary C. RAYMOND and husband Don of Branson, Mo.; two grandchildren, Mark RAYMOND of Fairfield and Rachel RAYMOND of Branson, Mo.; two great-grandchildren; one brother, Ernie HAINES of Fairfield; and two sisters, Mae WATSON of Lockridge and Lola DOUGLAS of Lockridge.

He was preceded in death by his parents and one daughter, Nancy who died in infancy.
