Eva BLACK dies at 84

Eva G. BLACK, 84, died Thursday at her home at 200 E. Madison. Services will be held Sunday at 2 p.m. at the Raymond Funeral Home with Pastor Lenwood Monte officiating.

Burial will be in Lockridge Cemetery, The family will receive friends at the funeral home 7:30 to 8:30 p.m. Saturday. Memorials to New Sweden Lutheran Church.

Mrs. BLACK was born November 30, 1895 in Jefferson County, the daughter of Oscar and Emma LILLYBLADE. She married Perry Earl BLACK and lived most of her entire life in Jefferson County. She was a member of the New Sweden Lutheran Church.

Surviving are two sons, Glen BLACK, Ottumwa, and Rex BLACK, Boyntown Beach, Fla., two grandsons and two great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by one daughter and eight brothers and sisters.
