McCLEARY rites Sunday

BATAVIA -- Ocie McCLEARY, 76, died Thursday evening at Jefferson County Hospital where she had been a patient since Monday.

Services will be Sunday at 1:30 p.m. at Campbell Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Kermit Lenhart officiating. Burial will be in McCleary Cemetery.

She was born May 14, 1902 in Libertyville, the daughter of Clarence and Abigail SCHOOLEY LONGERBONE.

She had lived in the Batavia area since 1941. She was baptized in the Christian Church of Packwood. She married Ray McCLEARY on March 12, 1930. He died Aug. 29, 1977.

She is survived by three daughters, Agnes SICKELS, Des Moines, Alice THOMSON, Mechanicsville, Betty Lou PUMPHREY, Hedrick; six sons, Stanley, Downey, Calif., Harley, El Paso, Texas, Allen, Bell Gardens, Calif., Harvey, Tom and David, all of Batavia, 25 grandchildren, six great-grandchildren.

She is also survived by three sisters, Alma ELLETSON, Buffalo, Minn., Flora TERRILL, Paris, KY., Doris GROVE, Minneapolis, Minn.; Three brothers, Ralph LONGERBONE, Minneapolis, Lawrence and Jim LONGERBONE, both of Des Moines.
