Daniel J. HOOTMAN

Daniel J. HOOTMAN, 36, of Moline, Ill., former area resident, died unexpectedly Monday, Oct. 24, 1994, at Trinity Hospital in Moline.

The service will be at 1:30 p.m. Friday at Gould Funeral Home in Brighton with the Rev. Robert Bell officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Lawn Cemetery in Fairfield. Visitation will be from 7 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home. A memorial has been established to the Heart Fund.

HOOTMAN was born Jan. 24, 1958, at Waterloo, the son of Dean and Beverly GARRISON HOOTMAN. He attended West High School in Davenport. He later moved to Fairfield, where he worked as a machinist at Rockwell International and Falco for several years. He later worked at Crane Valve Co. in Washington, Iowa, and currently was working as a locksmith for Quint Cities Security Co. in Rock Island, Ill.

Surviving are a daughter, Kelly HOOTMAN of Fairfield; his mother, Beverly DICKINSON of Brighton; a sister Debra BUTZ of Bumpass, Va.; a brother, Mark of Davenport; a half-sister, Connie NORMAN of Wilmington, Ill.; and a half-brother, Rick STROUD of Chicago. His father and an infant brother, Jeffrey, preceded him in death.
