Mrs. Jack DROZ, 39, 311 W. Hempstead, died Wednesday at 11:45 p.m., at the Jefferson County Hospital where she had been a patient for one week. She had been seriously ill for several months.
Services will be held Friday at 2 p.m. at the Weston Behner Funeral home in charge of Rev. Harold Kruger. Burial will be in Memorial Lawn cemetery.
Mrs. DROZ, the former Aletha WAGGONER, was a lifetime resident of Jefferson county. She was born July 5, 1922 at Salina, the daughter of Roy and Ethel WATERS WAGGONER. She was married to Jack DROZ Feb. 28, 1943.
Mrs. DROZ was a member of the First Lutheran church.
She is survived by her husband and seven children: Robert and Gloria, students at Fairfield high school; Marie and Linda, junior high school students; Kathy and Sue Ann, grade school students; and Patty Jo, at home.
Also surviving are her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Roy WAGGONER, Fairfield; and the following brothers and sisters: Mrs. Dorothy HAMMONS, Newton; Kenneth WAGGONER, Cedar Rapids; Mrs. Louise NELSON, Mrs. Erma MILLER and Gerald WAGGONER, all of Fairfield.
Buried: Memorial Lawn Cemetery, Fairfield, IA, Memorial 100, space 4
