Nancy L. RACHFORD

Nancy L. RACHFORD, 47, of Ottumwa died at 9:22 p.m. Monday, May 19, 1997, at her home.

The funeral service will be at 1:30 p.m. Friday at Prairie View United Methodist Church with the Rev. Dennis Coon officiating. Burial will be in Packwood Cemetery. Visitation will begin at 9 a.m. Thursday at Reece Funeral Home in Ottumwa with the family present from 6 to 8:30 p.m. A memorial has been established to Hospice of Wapello County.

Mrs. RACHFORD was born Sept. 24, 1949, in Ottumwa, the daughter of Gaylord Dale and Reva Blanche MERCER MYERS. She married Harvey I. RACHFORD on Nov. 18, 1991. A graduate of Pekin High School in 1968, she has been a resident of Ottumwa since 1975. She was an employee of Ottumwa Regional Health Center for 15 years, and attended Prairie View United Methodist Church.

Survivors include her husband; two sons, Jeff Scott MILLS of Packwood and Jason MILLS of Ottumwa; one daughter, Amy MILLS at home; twp stepsons, Brian RACHFORD of Laramie, Wyo., and Chris RACHFORD of Des Moines; one grandson; a sister, Kathryn FRANKLIN of Packwood; and a brother, John MYERS of Packwood.

She was preceded in death by her parents.
