Dewey R. HUDSON

BATAVIA --- Dewey R. HUDSON, 81, Route 2, Batavia, died at 8:15 p.m. Thursday at Bloomfield Care Center.

Services will be at 1:30 p.m. Sunday at Raymond Funeral Home with the Rev. Kermit Black and the Rev. Keevin Koch officiating. Burial will be in Smith Cemetery north of Batavia. Friends may call at their convenience starting at noon Saturday at the funeral home. Memorials have been established to the Abingdon Church and the Peoples Church.

Hudson was born Dec. 24, 1905, in Batavia, the son of Edmond and Nellie W. SMITH HUDSON. He was a retired farmer and a member of the Christian Church. He married Mary Eva BARRON in March 1942 at Lancaster, Mo. She died Oct. 6, 1966. He lived his entire life in the Batavia community.

Surviving are a sister, Jessie PRINCE of Batavia, and nieces and nephews. A sister preceded him in death.
