Leomer DAVIS Dies Suddenly

LIBERTYVILLE, Ia. ---- Leomer B. DAVIS, 64, died suddenly Friday at 4:30 p.m. when he suffered a heart attack at East Moline, Ill.

DAVIS was a machinist at the International Harvester plant in East Moline. His home was at Libertyville.

Services are tentatively scheduled Monday at 2 p.m. at the Raymond Funeral Home in Fairfield. Elder Donald Starkey of Ottumwa will preside. Burial will be in Smith cemetery north of Batavia.

DAVIS was born Dec. 10, 1896 near Bladensburg, the son of Miles E. and Scena A. KENNEDY DAVIS. He was married in June, 1923 to Anna R. GUBHRUD. On Feb. 24. 1932 he was married to Georgia HUDSON, who survives.

Also surviving are the following children: Mrs. Alta PHILLIPS, Des Moines; Mrs. Alberta GRAHAM, Fairfield; Donamontha BLACK, Ottumwa; Clarence DAVIS, Davenport; and Kenneth DAVIS, Stockport.

Thirteen grandchildren; two brothers, Claude DAVIS, Inglewood, Cailf., and Loren DAVIS, Eagleville, Mo.; and one sister, Mrs. Chloie JONES, Dunning, Neb., also survive.

DAVIS was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints at Ottumwa. One sister preceded him in death.
