Norma Louise GRIFFIN

Norma Louise GRIFFIN, 68, 708 S. Fourth St., died Tuesday afternoon, Jan. 14, 1997, at her home.

The funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Friday at Raymond Funeral Home with the Rev. Ed Parker officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery. Open visitation begins Thursday morning at the funeral home. Memorials have been established to the Fairfield Senior Citizen Center or the American Heart Association.

Mrs. GRIFFIN was born March 31, 1928, in Fairfield, the daughter of Glen and Hazel SMITH BURROWS. She married Artie (sic. a/k/a Archie) GRIFFIN Sept. 25, 1949, in Fairfield. He died March 5, 1980. She lived her entire life in Fairfield and was employed for 19 years at the Fairfield Laundry, and worked for several years as a clerk at the Dream Motel.

Survivors include a son, Mike GRIFFIN of Fairfield; two daughters, Gaylee LAUFER and Kelly MILLER, both of Fairfield; five grandchildren; and a brother, Glen "Boney" BURROWS Jr. of Eldon. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents, and a sister, Marjorie BURROWS.
