Steven Charles BROWN Sr.

Steven Charles BROWN Sr., 59, of Laredo, Mo., died Monday, Oct. 24, 2011, at Sunnyview Nursing Home in Trenton, Mo.

A memorial service will be at 10 a.m. Friday at Laredo Baptist Church in Laredo, Mo. Inurnment will be at a later date.

Open visitation will be noon to 5 p.m. Thursday at Lindley Funeral Home in Laredo.

Memorials may be made to Laredo Baptist Church and may be left at or mailed to Lindley Funeral Home, P.O. Box 47, Chillicothe, MO 64601.

Mr. BROWN was born March 4, 1952, in Fairfield, the son of Charles D. and Charlotte BOWER BROWN. He married Roxie SCHLIB Jan. 17, 1987, in Knoxville.

Mr. BROWN attended elementary school in Birmingham. He was a 1970 graduate of Bloomfield High School. He also graduated from Indian Hills Community College, specializing in small appliance service and repair.

Mr. BROWN was a member of Laredo Baptist Church.

He enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren, using his hands to fix and repair things and driving trucks.

Survivors include his wife; one son: Steven BROWN Jr. of Laredo, Mo.; one daughter: Angela STRUBLE and husband Ron of Laredo, Mo.; eight granddaughters; and two sisters: Sharon COFFIN of Fairfield and Brenda BOZARTH of Graceville, Fla.

He was preceded in death by his parents and one sister: Barbara J. BARCUS.
