MRS. A. C. ABBEY DIED HERE TODAY
Death Early This Morning Followed Two Weeks' Severe Illness in Hospital

Mrs. Allen C. ABBEY passed away this morning at 3:30 at the Jefferson county hospital after a two weeks' illness. Mrs. ABBEY's maiden name was Zada (sic - Vada) Marie SAWVEL. She was born September 30, 1901.

She is survived by two sons, Forest and Doyle; her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Frank SAWVEL of Drakesville, and the following brothers and sisters: Mrs. Wilda KELLY of Hawspring, Wyoming; Pearle ABBEY, of Fairfield; Lester SAWVEL of Centerville; Floyd and Mildred SAWVEL and Mrs. Faye HAZE, all of Milwaukee; Mrs. Fern BANISTER of Floris; Robert, Raymond and Warren SAWVEL, all of Drakesville.

Funeral services will be held at 2 oclock tomorrow afternoon from Hoskin's (sic - Hoskins) funeral home in charge of Rev. S. P. Williamson, the new pastor of the Christian church. Interment will be in the Evergreen cemetery.
