Mary May HUSTON LUCE

Mary May HUSTON LUCE, 76, of Farmington, died at 11:20 a.m. Monday, Oct. 3, 2011, at home.

A memorial service will be at 11 a.m. Oct. 14 at Seventh Day Adventist Church of Fairfield.

A memorial has been established. Memorials may be sent to Schmitz-Lynk Funeral Home at P.O. Box 56, Donnellson 52625.

Mrs. LUCE was born Jan. 8, 1935, in Caribou, Maine, the daughter of Gerald and Nellie TAYLOR HUSTON. She married Darroll LUCE. They later divorced.

Mrs. LUCE's main occupation was as a health food chef.

She was a member of Seventh Day Adventist Church of Fairfield. She volunteered teaching Bible classes for more than 30 years in prisons and helping build greenhouses in Finland.

Survivors include three daughters: Rhonda FRANZOSIE of Kentucky, Molly HUSTON of Montana and Patricia BRUEGGE and husband Garry of Farmington; 10 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; and nine siblings.

She was preceded in death by one son: Eric; one daughter: Roselie; her mother; one sister: Paula; and one brother: Gary.
