Funeral Saturday For RANARD Child

Last rites will be Saturday afternoon for Stephen Michael RANARD, four-year old Fairfield child who was electrocuted while playing at his home about noon Thursday.

The services will be at 4:00 p.m. at the Weston Behner funeral home with Dr. Curtis R. Douglass in charge. Burial will be in the Memorial Lawn cemetery.

Stephen Michael was born July 18, 1944, in Jefferson county, the son of Walter (sic - Joseph Walter) and Marguerite FAULKNER RANARD.

The child was electrocuted when he came in contact with an extension cord in his home yesterday morning. He had apparently came in contact with the cord several minutes before he was found lying on the floor. He failed to respond to emergency treatment.

Besides his parents, he is survived by a brother, Larry, and several other relatives.
