Rites Pending For Mrs. RANARD

Last rites are pending for Mrs. Mabel C. RANARD, 75, Fairfield resident who passed away this morning. The body is at the Weston Behner funeral home.

Mabel C. RANARD was born Nov. 5, 1888, in Van Buren county, the daughter of Isaac and Laura HAWBAKER. She lived her entire life in Van Buren and Jefferson counties.

She was married to Walker (sic - Joseph Walker) RANARD in 1907. He preceded his wife in death on May 28, 1944. Mrs. RANARD was a member of the Nazarene church.

She is survived by four daughters and six sons: Mrs. Harold ALLISON, Parma, Mich.; Mrs. Richard MAGEE (sic - McGEE), Yipsilanti, Mich., Mrs. John MARTIN, Moline, Ill.; Mrs. Edward ZURCHER, Lynn Center, Ill; Clyde RANARD, Lynn Haven, Fal. (sic - Fla.); John RANARD, Lynn Center, Ill.; Kenneth, Grover, Walter and Gayle, all of Fairfield. Several grandchildren also survive.

Other survivors include six sisters and one brother: Mrs. Beulah TURNER, Texas; Mrs. Rose KING and Mrs. Ella BISHOP, both of Ottumwa; Mrs. Pearl KRUGER, Batavia; Mrs. Florence RILEY, Los Angeles, Calif.; Mrs. Anna SNOOK, Fairfield; and Aaron HAWBAKER, Ottumwa.

RANARD Funeral To Be Saturday

Last rites for Mrs. Mabel C. RANARD, Fairfield, who died suddenly Thursday, will be held Saturday at the Weston Behner funeral home. The services will be at 1:30 p.m.

The Rev. Robert L. Swanson will be in charge and burial will be in Evergreen cemetery.

Mrs. RANARD was born in Van Buren county and spent most of her life in Jefferson county.
