K. POTTER, 27, dies suddenly

Kevin M. POTTER, 27, 702 North B, died suddenly at 9 a.m. Saturday at the Jefferson County Hospital. He became ill at his home and was taken by ambulance to the hospital where he was pronounced dead.

Grave services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday in Evergreen Cemetery with the Rev. George Koch officiating. The Behner Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Friends may call at their convenience at the funeral home.

The body was taken to Ottumwa for an autopsy to determine the cause of death.

Kevin M. POTTER was born Dec. 10, 1956, in Fairfield. He was the son of Bernard POTTER and Marjorie I. PRUDEN ROYER. He had lived all his life in the Fairfield Community and had worked nine years at the Iowa Malleable Iron Co. in Fairfield.

Survivors include his father and mother; his step-father Thomas E. ROYER, all of Fairfield; one sister, June WORKMAN; and a step-brother, Mike ROYER, Libertyville; and a step-sister, Karen JONES, McPherson, Kansas.
