Russell STILL rites Monday

Services for Russell Lee STILL, Sr., will be Monday at 2 p.m. at the Behner Funeral Home with the Rev. James A. Cecil officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery with military rites.

Visitation will be from 7 to 8 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.

STILL died at 5:28 p.m. Thursday at the Veterans Hospital in Iowa City.

STILL lived most of his life in the Fairfield Community. He was a veteran of the Korean Conflict serving in the U.S. Navy. He had been a self-employed auto mechanic and body repairman for a number of years.

Russell STILL was born May 3, 1933, in Harrison County. He was the son of forest (sic) and Mary DeLONG STILL. His marriage to Bessie SCHULTZ took place April 5, 1958, in Fairfield. She died Aug. 6, 1973.

Survivors include his father and step-mother who reside in Kansas City, Mo.; two sons, Russell STILL, Jr., Fairfield, and Terry STILL, Colorado; and two daughters, Juanita MILLHOUSE, Fairfield; and Diana COTTRELL, Colorado.

Also two grandchildren, three step-grandchildren; a brother, Wilbur STILL, Kansas City, Mo.; and three sisters, Mary LEEDY, Packwood; Luetta WILLIAMS, Ottumwa; and Audrey BROOKS, Kansas City, Mo.

A step-sister, Mildred WILLIAMS, and a step-brother, Leslie STILL, both of Kansas City also survive.

STILL was also preceded in death by his mother, one son, and two grandchildren.
