Lewis F. WHEELOCK Buried Here Today

Lewis F. WHEELOCK, prominent Des Moines resident, was laid to rest in Evergreen cemetery here at 2:00 p.m. today with Dr. C. R. Douglass in charge. He passed away at his home in Des Moines last Saturday. Funeral services were held at the family home at 10:00 a.m. today and the body brought to Fairfield for burial.

His wife, the former Louise MANATREY, Fairfield, preceded him in death two years ago. He is survived by two children, Louise Manatrey WHEELOCK and Lewis Frederick, Jr., both of Des Moines.

Mr. WHEELOCK, 50, investment broker, died at his home, 4267 Foster Drive, Des Moines, from a heart ailment.

He was born at Hartley, Iowa, and was graduated from the State University of Iowa. He had lived in Des Moines for more than 25 years. Mr. WHEELOCK had been a member of the investment securities firm of Wheelock and Cummins, Inc., since 1934.

He was well known in Fairfield having visited at his wife's former home here many times.
