Paul J. "Jack" WEAVER, 59, of Keosauqua, formerly of Mount Pleasant, died at 10:45 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 1, 2011, at home.
A memorial gathering will be from 5-7 p.m. Wednesday in the Lacey-Keosauqua State Park Lodge, rural Keosauqua.
Gifts to a memorial, to be designated later by the family, may be brought to the gathering or mailed to the family at 916 Country Lane Drive, Apt. 24, Keosauqua 52565.
The body has been cremated by Pedrick Funeral Home, Keosauqua.
Mr. WEAVER was born Oct. 24, 1951, in Birmingham, the son of Harold and Beulah CALKINS WEAVER.
He married Joyce K. BILLINGSLEY Feb. 2, 1974, at Farmington Nazarene Church. She survives.
He earned his high school general education development credential diploma in 1980. He worked 33 years at Blue Bird Midwest and Pacon Paper Co., both in Mount Pleasant.
Mr. WEAVER was a member and a deacon in Hillsboro Christian Church.
Survivors include his wife; one son, Charles WEAVER and wife Crystal of Douds; three grandchildren; one great-grandson; and one sister, Sherry HALL of Walford.
He was preceded in death by an infant son, Andy; his parents; and two sisters, Jeannie HOOTMAN and Shirley HARVEY.
