Linda Kay BRECOUNT

Linda Kay BRECOUNT, 38, of Primrose, died Saturday, Sept. 24, 2011, at home.

A funeral will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Schmitz-Lynk Funeral Home in Donnellson, with the Rev. Bill Willis officiating. Burial will be in Rock Creek Cemetery near Ollie.

Visitation will be from 9:30-10:30 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established in Mrs. BRECOUNT's memory.

Mrs. BRECOUNT was born April 3, 1973, in Washington, Iowa, the daughter of Herman V. and Maggie Viola STONER LAIRD. She married Clarence BRECOUNT III Nov. 24, 2001, in Donnellson.

Mrs. BRECOUNT was a graduate of Indian Hills Community College in Ottumwa.

She was baptized in 1981 at Marion Avenue Baptist Church in Washington, Iowa.

Mrs. BRECOUNT enjoyed hunting, fishing, traveling and being with her cats and dogs.

Survivors include her husband; two sons: Stephen EASTWOOD of Solon and Joshua BELL of Phoeniz, Ariz.; her mother and stepfather: Maggie Viola and John BOTTGER of Ollie; one sister: Susan BATTERSON of Abingdon; and one brother: Alan LAIRD of Ollie.

She was preceded in death by her father and her grandparents.
