Funeral services will be held on Friday.
Mrs. Catherine (sic - Catharine on her gravestones) LAWSON, 81, resident of Fairfield for 30 years, passed away at the Jefferson county hospital at 8:15 last evening. She had been seriously ill since Friday.
Funeral services will be held on Friday at 2:00 p.m. at the Hoskins funeral home. Dr. M. A. Gable will be in charge of the services. Burial will be in Evergreen cemetery.
Surviving are three daughters; Mrs. Earl C. LAUGHLIN, Mrs. George C. TUCKER and Miss Faye (sic - L. Faye) LAWSON of Fairfield; and one son Roy E. LAWSON of Council Bluffs. Her husband died on January 5, 1905 (sic - Jan. 3rd). One son, Charles D. LAWSON, passed away on March 29, 1929.

Note: Husband Alfred Davis LAWSON is buried in Cumberland Cemetery. Catharine is on a joint headstone with him there but only her birthdate is noted. Cumberland closed in 1929 and today is heavily over-grown. Catharine's maiden name was BONNETT. She is buried in Lot 3rd.122½ with daughter L. Faye.
