MORRISON was born in Jefferson County, Iowa, June 13, 1841 and died in Libertyville, Jan. 3, 1905, at the home of her sister, Mrs. Hiram ASHMEAD, with whom she had made her home for nearly twenty-three years. Funeral services were conducted by Rev. Rollingston, from Mt. Zion church four miles southwest of Libertyville, in the neighborhood where she was born and resided all her life until about four years ago when she came to Libertyville with her sister. She leaves to mourn their loss three brothers and five sisters: William H., and Charlotta A. RATCLIFF of Doud, Van Buren Co., Iowa; Isabell J. BISHOP of Eldon, Iowa; Eugene of Burlington, Iowa; John W. near Libertyville, Iowa; Mrs. Mary FISHER of Missouri; Mrs. Ida G. BEACH of Colorado. They were all present at the funeral except Mrs. FISHER and Mrs. BEACH. There was a large attendance of old neighbors and friends.

Dearest sister thou last left us;
Here thy loss we deeply feel;
But 'tis God that hath bereft us,
He can all our sorrows heal.

Peaceful be thy silent slumber--
Peaceful in the grave so low,
Thou no more will join our number;
Thou no more our songs shall join.

Yet again we hope to meet thee,
When the day of life is fled,
Then in heaven with joy to greet thee
Where no farewell tear is shed.
