JOHN W. BOYD SERVICES SAT.

John William BOYD died this morning at 8:00 a.m. at his home at 302 North Sixth street after a serious illness of ten weeks.

Services will be held Saturday afternoon at 2:00 p.m. from the Hoskins funeral home with Rev. S. P. Williamson in charge. Interment in Evergreen cemetery.

Mr. BOYD, who with his wife (sic. Virginia TURNHAM BOYD) moved to Fairfield from Lucerne, Missouri, twelve years ago, was born in Iowa January 5, 1863.

Surviving are his wife, one son, John Robert of Newtown, Mo., two daughters, Mrs. Mary Margaret TULLER of Pollock, Mo., and Mrs. Capitolia DUNCAN of Ottumwa; a sister, Mrs. Mary ATHERTON of Fairfield and fourteen grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by three children, one brother and five sisters.
