Thursday, March 13, 1924Miss Angeline PINEGAR, born Vermillion Co., Ind., Aug 26 1839, died Feb 29 1924 age 84-6-3. Pneumonia. When 12 years of age came to Jefferson County, Iowa, with her parents. Apr. 8 1857 married Jacob MARING. They moved to Chillicothe, Wapello Co., Iowa, where they resided until the Civil War broke out. He was one of the first to answer the call of his country, leaving her with two small children for 3 years. After his return they moved to the farm where they have since resided in Jefferson County, Iowa. Nine children: John M. of Ottumwa, Iowa; Wm. L. of Sioux Falls, S.D.; Theodore J., near Eldon, Iowa; Cordelia M. of Oskaloosa, Iowa; Geo. F. & Anna J. of Jefferson Co., Iowa; one infant, Marques D., and Bertha F., preceding her in death. Leaves husband, six children, 26 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren.

Note: Buried in County Line Cemetery. Husband Jacob would die in 1925 and is buried there as well. Although her obituary mentions nine children, only eight are named.
