Lila EARHART, 73, of Burlington, died Monday, Sept. 5, 2011, at home.

Arrangements are pending at Kremer Funeral Home in Eldon.

Some details from the "Courier" article include: Lila Lorraine was born Feb. 23, 1938, to Floyd and Ethel BROOKS PILCHER. She graduated from high school in Eldon in 1957 and married James L. EARHART in 1962, also in Eldon. She is survived by her husband, three sons, James (Beth) of MO, Dan of Burlington, and Edward (Julie) of Burlington, six grandchildren, a brother Kenneth (Virginia) of Cedar Rapids and a sister Joy COX of Eldon, and many nieces and nephews. Services were held Thursday the 8th in Eldon and burial was in Fiddler Cemetery. Her parents and nine siblings preceded her.
